Mind-Body Practices | Friday
March 24 @ 8:00 am – 10:00 am

Do you have a personal yoga practice? Are you working on developing or deepening your practice? Would you enjoy the support of a community that is also working on developing and deepening its practice? Join us for our OPEN STUDIO hours!
The KALISPELL Collective will host a weekly Friday morning session to provide a community space for like-minded folks to come together and work on their own personal practice while enjoying the camaraderie that the community offers. Sara Schmidt, one of the founders at The KALISPELL Collective, is a trauma-informed holistic nurse with ten years of experience as a 200 hr yoga & meditation instructor. She will be present for these “Open Studio” sessions as on-site support and to provide any requested guidance or instruction.
Sara’s approach to teaching is to provide a healing-focused mind-body practice meant to be accessible to all. Her other offering at the COLLECTIVE includes twice a month FREE Yoga for Veterans, Active-Duty Military, and First Responders of the Flathead Valey. She also collaborates with Jing Shen Healing Arts at the COLLECTIVE to offer a 90-minute YIN YOGA class combined with FIVE ELEMENT ACUPUNCTURE. The addition of the “Pins” truly deepens the practice and the relaxation of the final resting pose. This is a monthly offering every fourth Friday of the month.
While the COLLECTIVE is not a YOGA STUDIO, we believe that bringing people together to provide space for this type of wellness-oriented practice is fantastic for building and supporting wellness in our community.
Open Studio participants are encouraged to bring their own supplies as supply availability will be limited during these sessions.
